We are seeking a freelance, highly talented "Rock Star" Product Manager who is passionate about building, enhancing, and promoting products that customers/clients love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Responsibilities
- Drive actions throughout our organization to successfully build, enhance, and promote our products in the marketplace.
- Support marketing efforts with insights on key differentiators and messaging.
- Manage all aspects of our product set, including customer feedback, competitive landscape, pricing strategy, product enhancements, etc…
- Proposal management: Own the proposal creation and revision process, e.g. design, imagery, formatting, content, overall presentation, incorporating feedback from the sales team, brand consistency etc…
- Pricing: Conduct competitive research, recommend pricing strategy, pricing options, testing/validation, etc…
- Client: Gather feedback we can leverage to improve products and client experience; client outreach to request testimonials and case studies.
- R&D: Competitive research to stay ahead of trends to improve current products and create new products.
- Reporting: Gather metrics, KPIs, etc… related to product-centric efforts, e.g. conversion rates, retention rates, LTVs, churn rates, ROI, etc…
- Optimization: Enhancing KPIs based on reporting efforts.
- Collaboration: Working with in-house stakeholders to support overall product-related efforts.
- Promotion: Recommend, participate in, and evaluate marketing and promotional plans to ensure consistency with our product strategy, messaging effectiveness, branding consistency, and overall growth initiatives.
2. Skill Sets
We are seeking top talent, so it is absolutely imperative that you have the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in product management within a web design/development and/or digital marketing environment.
- Demonstrated success defining, launching, managing, and optimizing products.
- Market research and competitive analysis skills.
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You'll also be provided with very clear project instructions and requirements, but you must also be able to work independently, figure things out for yourself, do your own research when necessary, and adopt an attitude of "I'm going to do whatever it takes to get the job done!"

2. Work Environment
