Job Description:
We are seeking an Expert WordPress Developer responsible for front-end development. This position requires expert programming skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Etc.). Experience with a responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including development, and deployment is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the approved design to WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, etc. (Must be mobile responsive and display well on any browser.)
- Page speed optimization.
- Applying the meta title & description provided by the SEO specialist.
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in front-end development
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, SASS (Optional but good to have)
- Experience developing responsive design websites
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages or WordPress site.
- Knowledge in using Git
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• You must live in the Philippines (please do not apply if this is not the case as we will not reply).
• You have your own computer and Internet connection (this is a home-based position).
• You are willing to work during U.S. business hours (Mountain Time)
